AZfamily news asks, is America taking away its own opportunities with this story on a bright student named Daniella Aguado who graduated high school, gained a scholarship to BYU, went back to Mexico to do things the ‘proper way’ and got denied an F-1 student visa. She is now ineligible to see her family, which is still in the United States. The story is here. I can definitely relate to Daniella's story, having considered a move away from the US after finishing up at UCLA. With stories like this, the need for the DREAM Act is now undeniable.
Again, you can voice your support for the DREAM Act in change.org's IDEAS for CHANGE in AMERICA campaign. Our cause is number 1 right now!

Lol I am blushing even as I struggle with this cold/flu ...
Seriously, Aguado's story really hit home. I feel bad for the family -- Did they have a stupid lawyer or could not afford one? I know my own lawyer's said I had less than 2% of a chance to win an appeal when I was a 17 year old kiddo. It was devastating but I was told to stay and wait.
I hope Aguado left before 18.5 months. Anyone know? That way she has only a 3 year ban.
This should really shut up the politicians who also tell us to go back home and apply legally.
