Underground Undergrads in San Jose, April 23

It's been a while but we are doing our organizing on a whole new scale. It's the era of DREAM Act 2009!

While a certain Underground UCLA graduate will be speaking on CNN tomorrow morning (10:30am EST), Prerna (covered in the New York Times Room for Debate blog today), will be doing the San Jose presentation along with other undocumented youth organizers in the evening.

Representatives from DreamActivist-United We DREAM National Coalition will be showcasing videos (Lost and Found, DREAM on CNN) and talking about organizing for the DREAM Act, including details on where we are now and what strategies and plan of action the national coalition is taking in the coming months.

The event will be at San Jose City College at 6:30 pm.

Event is a safe zone for undocumented students so everyone should feel welcome to attend and participate.

Place:
Student Center Community Room 204 upstairs of the bookstore.
2100 Moorpark Ave
San Jose, CA 95128

See ya there!

Undocumented = criminal. Illegal entry into the United States. It is a crime therefore making these people criminals. Just like anyone else who commits a crime.

Except being undocumented is not a crime, it's a civil offense. So, there goes your whole argument.

And good job, guys! :)

I spit, without permission or documents, on the sidewalk 20 years ago. It was against the law. So I guess I am an illegal and a criminal.

Anonymous, you need to learn how to formulate intelligent points rather than regurgitating the Alipac cliches that no one, other than your ilk, pay attention to.
