Didn't read the article...He sounds like a good guy. <BR/><BR/>Didn't read the article, but whoever is complaining about people auditing the courses must have forgotten that students aren't paying for the coursework, but for the piece of paper that says "Columbia grad." That means those eavesdroppers sitting in on the course aren't taking anything of value from the University, they're not diluting the brand.
